Descriptions are made to the process flow, technical characteristics and production performance of Takahax-Hirohax desulfurization and decyanation of coke oven gas in Baosteel Phase I. Besides, the technical and economic evaluation of this process is made, and the scheme for further process improvement is put forward.
In order to optimize the process and reduce the coke burning loss rate,single factor and multi-factor analysis have been carried out for the burning loss rate of 150 t/h CDQ,and the relevant model has been established. The results show that the coke burning loss rate is affected by various conditions of coke dry quenching; and the coke burning loss rate increases with the reduction of the circulating gas CO concentration and the increase of the irculating air volume;The operating parameters such as ratio of gas to coke,gasification rate,coke discharge temperature,circulating gas
CO concentration and material level are selected for multi-factor regression calculation with the coke burning loss rate. The results are close to the burning loss rate calculated by carbon balance method.
This multi-factor regression model can be used to predict the coke burning loss rate.
In view of structural features,heating characteristics and production practice in combustion chamber of 6-arch heat recovery coke oven,the automatic heating technology for combustion chamber of the 6-arch heat recovery coke oven was independently developed by Coking Plant of Sansteel,which has been successfully used in a one-oven battery. This attempt provides reference for the automatic heating of the combustion chamber of other similar multi-arch heat recovery coke ovens at home and abroad,it also helps give new idea for an optimized design and construction of multi-arch heat recovery coke oven in the future.

In order to utilize more than 600 000 tonnes of Australian coal that had seriously exceeded
its storage period at Yingkou port,the quality and coking performance of three types of Australian coal
at different storage times and in different coal pile parts were tested to analyze their quality deterioration
as well as their impact on the quality of the coke produced. The three coal types were eventually used
without affecting the quality of the coke produced.
The cost of coal blending accounts for 80% of operation cost in coking plant. Through optimization and improvement of whole process management,the ratio of gas coal blending is increased up to 45%,which will greatly reduce the cost of coal blending.

Through the analysis of the factors affecting the water quality of the phenol cyanide wastewater treatment station,it is found that water temperature,concentration of influent pollutants, reflux ratio,and equipment failure are the main factors causing unqualified water quality. Based on
practical operating experience,a timely dynamic adjustment mode should be established to ensure the stability of process parameters and the stable water quality of the phenol cyanide wastewater treatment station.

The fibre bed dust and mist eliminator is capable of removing tar,dust,naphthalene and other substances from coke oven gas. It is characterized with high removal efficiency and easy maintenance,solution to low removal efficiency,frequent adsorbent replacing and difficulty in replacing the conventional equipment. It also minimizes compressor failures caused by incomplete COG purification as well as the frequency of air valve cleaning.
