Abstract:  In consideration of the uneven heating in vertical direction of 7.63 m battery at present and according to the traditional theory and unique feature of coke oven structure，a test was carried out for heating adjustment to shorten the gas combustion flame in the vertical flue，the result was not satisfactory. Under the control method of“low standard temperature and low pressure of heating gas”， the uniformity of vertical direction heating has been improved to some extent.
