Abstract: Coke ovens is required to meet the corresponding supply requirement for BF enlargement，
the balance of coke self-sufficiency in the north area 4 700 m3  blast furnace can be achieved by four newly-built JNX2-70-2 7 m coke oven batteries of Masteel in different locations and the logistics scheduling costs is reduced．This paper introduces the oven proper and key equipment characteristics of 7 m coke oven project of Masteel，application practice of green energy saving and independent innovation intelligent manufacturing technology carried out at the same time during Masteel’s project construction， which can provide technical reference for selection of main battery type and equipment.
