The sorting utilization for low-rank fine coal plays a significant role in upgrading coal resource value and increasing its utilization efficiency.This paper introduced JNWFG furnace,which uses the low-rank fine coal as raw material to produce high quality coal tar and gas as well as stable quality of semi coke.The stable operation of this demonstration plant marks the realization of JNWFG industrial production,which has moved the most critical step for the sorting utilization chain of low-rank fine coal.

In this paper,introduction is made to the method of studying the microstructures of coals by using modern spectrum technology.Summary is made for the current situations of coal microstructures analysis,coal pyrolysis process and the mircrostructures of its products after the pyrolysis by using XRD,FTIR and Raman spectrum.Analysis is also given to the effect of coal microstructures change to the coal behavior and those during pyrolysis process.The outlook of modern analyzers in application of coal chemical industry is prospected.

The hydro working conditions of steam-water system in waste heat recovery from ascension pipe is analyzed based on a project example.A block method of 5 ascension pipes as one group of vaporization system is adopted to ensure a balance between water feeding and steam generation.The thermal system of the ascension pipe is arranged in piping of “water feeding from stage 1+steam generating from stage 2” to keep hydro stability of the steam-water system.The system piping is designed as “big diameter and low flow rate” to minimize resistance loss due to long arrangement of external lines.In this project,the steam yield is about 131 kg/t·coke, which can improve the resources utilization of the coking plant.

Technical advantages and equipment innovation for 230 t/h large capacity CDQ plant are introduced in this paper,which is a brand-new technology integrating double-flue,new type primary deduster and coke breeze cooling,etc..Compared with the old technology,i.e.two sets of CDQ plants are customized for coke oven,the new type large capacity CDQ plant will have less land occupation,lower initial investment by 20%~25%,less operating cost by 20%,and additional investment return by 30%.

In the event of unstable CDQ operation,it would cause serious damages to the CDQ chamber refractory,like cracks and flake-offs,which needs a series of repairs,such as on the cooling section of the CDQ proper,bracket,ring beam,inner ring duct,chamber mouth,side wall of the primary deduster and high temperature expansion joint,etc.to meet the requirement for normal production.Since the conventional bricklaying takes longer time,there would be differential expansion between the existing wall and the newly-built,and the joint in between has poor strength.Therefore the new casting technology can repair the joint between the existing wall and the new wall with consistent expansion and with high strength of the brickwork in one piece.

Introduction is made to the method for heating gas flow and pressure adjustment,heating temperature variation and PROven operation for ascension pipe during long time heating pause for 7.63 m coke oven.The procedure of coke oven heating restore is also introduced.The heat preservation after heating pause lasts for 15 hours till smooth transition between production and modification,which provides experience for coke oven heat preservation during long time heating pause.

In this paper,different processes for coal tar residue treatment are compared.Solutions are also given to environment and coke quality issues by extraction,heating,breaking,centrifugation and coal blending,etc.in the process of coal tar residue treatment.The result shows that the solution can have the residue with water content<15%,with tar <10%,which can be blended with coking coal,without influencing the coke quality.

In this paper,introduction is made to the proposal of upgrading from 160,000 t/a coal tar hydrogenation plant to inferior diesel hydrogenation plant.Bottlenecks possibly occurring in technique and in equipment during the modification are analyzed.The modification will have additional desulfurization system by circulating hydrogen,hydrogenation feed pump,H2S stripper and pump at bottom of diesel fractionating column,this upgraded plant will have capacity of refining 440,000 t inferior diesel per year.It’s reported in technical and economic evaluation that after the modification,the operating cost is totaled at ¥532 Yuan for refining per ton of diesel.

Analysis is made to configuration of standby boiler system during start-up of independent coking plant and to the energy saving and environmental issues.The result shows that natural gas or COG is the first priority to use for main boiler start-up,and COG is the first priority for standby boiler.Boiler with two kinds of parameters shall be taken for preference for volume selection.Low-position deaerator shall enjoy priority for boiler system arrangement.DeNOx and DeSOx systems should be used for treatment of emission from the boiler.

Project example is introduced that low-temperature (170~185 ℃) SCR process is used in DeNOx and DeSOx for waste flue gas treatment.This process is characterized with low construction investment,low operating cost,stable operation of equipment,high efficiency of DeNOx in the waste flue gas and the NOx content after purification remaining below 150 mg/m3 in long term.
