Through experimental research of semi-coke injection process for Baotousteel blast furnace,the semi-coke and bituminous coal will be blended according to a proportion to give full play to each performance advantage so that the pulverized coal can meet the requirement for PCI into the BF.The result of the study demonstrates that using the semi-coke can not only minimize the operating cost,but also reduce coke consumption and protect the ecological environment as well.

Driving shaft contort might happen due to mechanical fatigue caused by insufficient strength of the shaft,it would result in failure of the electro-hydraulic damper in suction main of 7.63 m battery,and it would even cause failure in crude gas pressure control system.The slight negative pressure method could ensure that the electro-hydraulic damper can be replaced in a safe manner with precondition of the oxygen content in the ETP staying at safe range.

Based on the TRIZ theory and in view of the frequent internal leakage of water-cooling jacket tube in 220 t/h CDQ unit,15 solutions are obtained by using TRIZ resolving problems and steps.Finally,through comprehensive evaluation in terms of manufacturing cost,difficulty coefficient,complexity,manufacturing cycle and operability,etc..Option 8 has been selected and put into operation for one year,which shows a good performance result.

The condition of CDQ tubular heat exchanger that dust is deposited on the external surface of the tube and fouling is formed inside the tube would impact convectional heating system,which will lead to low heat exchanging efficiency and failure in reaching the required quenching temperature.The cleaning of the CDQ tubular heat exchanger will have reduction of circulating gas pressure at outlet of the CDQ fan,increase of heat exchanging efficiency and CDQ capacity as well as longer service life of CDQ equipment.

After the CDQ primary deduster puts into operation for years,it would occur the problems such as castable flake-off at the inlet expansion joint,frequent false alarm of level indicator,internal leakage of water-cooling jacket and slow discharge of dust,etc..Measures have been taken to improve the primary deduster,i.e.the inlet expansion joint is made of refractory bricks,electrostatic capacitance type level indicator is changed to resistor type,coke breeze is cooled by boiler blowdown through water-cooling jacket and coke dust discharge method is modified.After the improvement,the primary dedusting system can run in a stabler level and the CDQ unit can be in a more environmental-friendly operation.

The flues 1#~4# are seriously damaged on the PS and CS of battery 6# of Masteel.Re-bricklaying by uncovering the oven roof for the middle flues (up to 6# flue from the PS) is adopted.Technical requirements and operation key points during the whole maintenance is introduced.This repair achieves good result, which can not only effectively extend the service life of the coke oven, but also play a directive role in uncovering the oven roof for the middle flues of 6 m battery.

This paper introduces the process of COG purification and methanation, and proposes hydrogen-making technology from methanated hydrogen-rich tail gas as well as analyzes it in a comprehensive manner.The liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) is not classified as hazardous chemicals, which is easy to transport and has a high hydrogen storage capacity.The hydrogen-making technology based on the LOHC is safe, reliable and economically feasible.It makes full use of the existing hydrogen-rich tail gas resources and promotes the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas.

The WSA acid-making unit would be apt to short stable operation,low quality of sulphuric acid product and huge pressure of strict environmental requirement due to blockage and corrosion,etc..Through optimization of desulfurizer liquid purification,upgrading of gas-liquid separation in feed gas,optimization of process gas thermal insulation and modification on the boiler feed water system,the operating rate of the system can increase from 78% to 97% plus,the recovery rate of sulfuric acid product can increase from 0.19% to 0.23% so as to realize stable operation of long-process WSA acid-making.

The A2/O(O) process of coking wastewater treatment has not been able to meet the requirement of environmental protection.On the basis of engineering summary and on-site investigation, four kinds of practical technologies for coking wastewater treatment are put forward: i.e.pre-aeration technology,biological fluidized bed technology,primary adsorption technology and secondary sedimentation tank upgrading technology.The project utilization shows that all the four technologies can not only reduce cost to a certain extent,but also ensure the stability of the treatment up to specification,which can be largely promoted.

Coke oven flue gas after wet desulfurization is discharged into atmosphere,which appears white smog because droplet is formed under relatively low ambient temperature at the outlet of chimney.In this paper,an appropriate white smog vanish process is selected based on the features of wet desulfurization and coke oven operation.Linear programming graphic is also established through Excel computation so as to obtain the key parameters in the white smog vanish process.

Introduction is made to the process of “SDA (Spray Dryer Absorber)+dedusting DeNOx” in this paper.Technical and economical analysis is also made for this project,which shows that the bought-out raw materials and energy cost take majority of the total operating cost of the project.The technical innovation in DeSOx & DeNOx as source control can largely minimize the consumption of ammonia,sodium carbonate and electric power in operation so that the operating cost for this project can be reduced.
