In this paper,different processes for coal tar residue treatment are compared.Solutions are also given to environment and coke quality issues by extraction,heating,breaking,centrifugation and coal blending,etc.in the process of coal tar residue treatment.The result shows that the solution can have the residue with water content＜15%,with tar ＜10%,which can be blended with coking coal,without influencing the coke quality.
