This paper expounds technical solution to realize coal charging into coke oven without any emissions by CPS-NG device and compares it with the technical solution adopted by PROven and SOPRECO devices based on analysis of the technical principle.The advantages of CPS-NG device in respect of avoiding increase of oxygen content in crude gas and reducing the amount of coal/coke dust carried over by the crude gas are demonstrated in the paper.

This paper studies the proximate analysis,caking index,plastometer indices,coal petrography index of coking coal,optical structure and thermal performance of coke. It also compares with similar type of coal property to judge the degree of coal metamorphism and coal blending condition by using coal petrography index so as to better identify the quality of coking coal.

In this paper,the relationship between caking index (G) and Gieseler fluidity of coking coal were analyzed respectively.The change rules of caking index (G) and Gieseler fluidity characteristic of the coal types are mixed.The results indicate that the caking index and Gieseler fluidity characteristic of the same kind of coal show a good additivity,but the additivity of different coal types is poor.With the increase of blending proportion of low Gieseler fluidity coal,the softening temperature of blended coal samples will increase rapidly,and the soft solid interval will narrow continuously.The relationship between caking index (G) and lgMF of blended coal samples can be regarded as the addition of linear relationship and quadratic curve relationship.

Jingdezhen Coking Energy Co.,Ltd.promotes restructuring coal resources and introduces Australian Illawarra coking coal to improve the coke quality and minimize the operation cost.The coal properties analysis and coal blending experiment for Australian Illawarra coking coal show that it belongs to low ash and low sulfur coking coal.During coal blending,it is found that the Australian Illawarra coking coal directly replaces domestic WG coking coal,and the coke quality decreases.Through further study on coal fluidity index,coal petrography index and iron box test for various coal types,the coke quality can be guaranteed and the cost of coal blending is reduced after the optimization of coal blending scheme.

An example of 5.5 m coke oven heating-up is presented in this paper.Study is carried out for the expansion law of the refractory block and the curvature change of the buckstay as well during the coke oven heating-up through analysis of the temperature rising behavior.The result demonstrates that the buckstay curvature changes in a tendency from bigger to smaller.

This paper studies a turbine-grid system through which an isolated power grid fed from CDQ steam turbine can be automatically switched over in running for critical electric consumers inside coke plant in case of power failure in the external grid.When the external power grid is resumed,the isolated grid can be automatically switched to the integrated grid to restore normal production as the quickest so that the potential risk of large-scale power outage due to the external grid failure can be avoided since the above-mentioned measures have strengthened the power grid stability of the coke plant.

In order to research the characteristics of internal force applied to different steel structures of the coke oven enclosure for dust gathering and removal,this paper analyzes two different types of the pipe truss with 3D3S.Besides,the FEM analysis is carried out to summarize the stress conditions of internal members and support foundations of the two types of structures.It indicates the pipe truss with tension bars can effectively optimize the structure.The calculation and analysis above may be helpful for the usage of steel structure for coke oven enclosure.

It is well recognized that PDS desulfurization and decyanation process is widely used in crude gas treatment for its high removal efficiency and stable operation in coking industry.In actual production,however,the desulfurization liquid may accumulate in the system and has to be partially disposed as waste liquid,which would not just increase the operating cost,but cause waste of the PDS catalyst.Based on water balance calculation,the operating regime has been optimized so that the water balance can be realized in the process of PDS desulfurization and decyanation.

The vacuum degree of the negative pressure system of vacuum potassium carbonate desulfurization process directly affected the regeneration of the desulfurizer liquor.In case of air leakage into the negative pressure system during production,it would affect the H2S content in gas after desulfurization.Through analysis of the interrelation between the abnormal phenomenon and the abnormal parameters,the main cause of H2S content in gas was found.By taking measures,the H2S content in gas has dropped to a normal level.

In Masteel,7.63 m coke oven adopts desulfurization and denitrification technology by active coke,in which the by-products can be used to produce ammonium sulfate.This solution can reduce investment and have no secondary pollution.And the 6 m coke oven adopts an integration of dry desulfurization plus dust removal technology,which is characterized with less land occupation,low investment,and no by-products generation such as solid waste.The actual production proved that using active coke has lower operating cost in running the desulfurization and denitrification system.
