Abstract: Abstract: Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is the most dangerous type of acute pancreatitis (AP), often associated with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) and systemic infl ammatory response syndrome (SIRS), with a high mortality rate. Become a major challenge in the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases. Early diagnosis and early intervention of this disease are particularly important to reduce the risk and mortality of patients with complications. This article reviews recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of acute severe pancreatitis in recent years.
