Abstract:

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Method 58 patients with laparoscopic hernia repair admitted to the 926th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from March 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the laparoscopic group, and 58 patients treated with traditional hernia repair during the same period were selected as the traditional group. Compare the surgical conditions, postoperative complications, and recurrence rates between the two groups of patients. Result Surgery time, bedtime, and hospitalization time of the laparoscopic group were shorter than those of the traditional group, with less intraoperative bleeding and lower pain scores at different postoperative periods

compared to the traditional group (P ＜ 0.05). There was no significant difference in surgical efficacy between the two groups of patients, and the total incidence of complications in the laparoscopic group was lower than that in the traditional group, with a significant difference (P＜0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the 2-year postoperative recurrence rate between the two groups of patients (P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic hernia repair surgery has fewer complications compared to traditional hernia repair surgery, and can shorten the surgical time and promote patient recovery.
