Influence of alkali metals on coke and evolution of coke microstructure

To study the influence of alkali metals on the microstructure of coke and the changing rules of melting loss reaction,the gasification experiment of coke was carried out by high-temperature thermogravimetric analyzer and infrared metallurgical heating equipment,and the changes of microstructure and optical structures of the products were analyzed by X-ray diffractometer(XRD)and polarized microscope. The results show that with the increase of alkali metal solution concentration, the initial reaction temperature of coke decreases,and the layer spacing d002,the stacking height Lc, the microcrystal size La,the number of layers N,the number of aromatic rings n and the degree of graphitization r0 increase with the increase of alkali metal concentration and reaction time.

The method is based on common calculation of cost-performance of coking coal in conventional coking enterprises,adding the impact of volatiles of different coking coal on gas yield. And the influence on economic index of blast furnace is also taken into account. Take an individual kind of coal as the standard coal,and indicators of the corresponding coke as standard indicators, then compare the indicators of coke from other kinds of coal with the standard indicators,with the comparison value shown in terms of influencing degree on blast furnace. And the cost of coke is used to indicate the influencing degree on blast furnace. And coke cost of different kinds of coal is used to indicate the cost-performance of each individual kind of coal.

This paper studies the changes in the thermal properties of coke under different reaction temperatures,different gas flow rates,different gas compositions, and different melting loss rates. It is found that the main reaction of coke is infiltration at 1 100 ℃. The thermal strength tends to decrease with the increase of melting loss rate. Changes in gas composition and gas flow have little effect on heat intensity. At 1 200 ℃,the reaction of coke is mainly infiltration, accompanied by a certain degree of surface reaction. The thermal intensity first tends to decrease as the burning loss rate increases and decreases sharply when the burning loss rate is greater than 25%. After the CO2 proportion is greater than or equal to 25%, changes in gas composition and gas flow rate have little effect on thermal strength. At 1 350 ℃,surface reaction is dominant. The thermal intensity does not change much with the increase of the burning loss rate, and can always maintain at a high thermal intensity. As the CO2 ratio increases,the thermal intensity of the coke tends to decrease, and changes in gas flow rate have little effect on the thermal intensity.

Coal blending based on coal mines is used to reduce the cost of coal blending,including industrial analysis,detection of bonding indicators,analysis of lithotype of coal,and analysis of Gibbs flow ability indicators for each coal mines. Application of 40 kg pilot oven test on studying and comparison of clean coal quality for coking at each specific coal mines,coal blending is scientifically and reasonably adjusted by means of a series of cost reduction measures. The feasibility of coal blending ratio optimization is tested through 40 kg pilot oven test to ensure stable coke quality. It is therefore applied to 6 m top-charge battery,and annual cost reduction of over 40 million yuan can be achieved.

The high-sulfur and low-ash lean coals of Shanxi Fengkuang Supply Chain Management Co.,Ltd. are chosen to be used to reduce the cost of coal blending and improve the blending quality and efficiency. After proximate analysis,petrographic analysis and ash content analysis,the optimal ratio is adopted for production,based on the pilot oven test of single coal and blended coal. According to the coal sources condition,the ratio of 5% to 20% is added. Under the condition of ensuring the quality of coke,the cost has been reduced by more than 20 million RMB,and better economic benefits have been achieved.

Ring duct,cross gas duct and central gas distribution device are applied for coke silo for even distribution of gas from the peripheral ring duct and central cowl to the silo.Thus the efficiency of coke drying can be improved.This paper introduces the new drying technology for wet quenched coke,with the silo both for coke drying and storage,which helps customers reduce costs and improve operation efficiency.

This article introduces the analysis of the cause to abnormal noise of CDQ dedusting fan and its solutions.In this paper,the vibration characteristics were thoroughly studied based on actual situation on site,and the causes of various possible faults were eliminated.It was diagnosed that the main reason for the abnormal noise of the CDQ dedusting fan for coke screening was a loose fit between the motor drive end bearing and its mating shaft or hole.

The existing capacity of 140 t/h CDQ unit of Fujian San Steel can not reach the designed capacity.The operation of CDQ chamber is difficult,and fails to meet the production requirement of coke ovens.Some problems also exist,including insufficient circulating air volume,high resistance at boiler inlet,high temperature of coke charging and floating coke.Through analysis,it is found that air ventilation area of CDQ connecting duct is not large enough and dimension of cowl is not reasonable. And this paper also provides solutions for modifying the ventilation area of the connecting duct,which helps to improve the capacity of CDQ unit and guarantees normal coke oven production.

The Crude benzene hydro-refining unit is to remove unsaturated hydrocarbons and a small amount of sulfide by hydrogenation,and further rectify and refine the compositions to produce higher value-added products such as benzene,toluene and xylene.The basic loops of the unit are all controlled by PID,and the coupling correlation between material and energy in the unit makes the PID control of some basic loops less effective.For this reason,advanced control and optimized technology were applied for the crude benzene hydro-refining process,which significantly improved the quality of the controlled variables in the unit,reduced the labor intensity of the operators,improved the energy consumption of the unit and achieved good economic benefits.

This paper is for the purpose of extending the service life of wrinkled bag for DeSOx and DeNOx equipment of flue gas and ensuring that particle emission in flue gas from the chimney is less than 10 mg/Nm3 . Through application and research, if the high-efficiency wrinkled bags applied in the DeSOx and DeNOx equipment of flue gas,without modifying the deduster structure,the air speed through the bad filter will be decreased dramatically and service life will be extended,with higher efficiency of desulfurization.

This paper introduces a process for collection and treatment for fugitive gases in multi-area of coking plants. The fugitive gases from different units will be pre-treated for recovery of by-products. The fugitive gases will be sent via mist catcher to waste gas box for combustion with air. The pretreatment can realize removal of combustible gases, which makes the entire process system operate in a safer and stabler manner.

Introduction is made to the classification of the tail gas and its recovery process in the coking plant. The tail gas of products Class C,first being treated by absorption method,shall be added into the combustion air to reduce the emission. The tail gas of products Class B and A shall be sealed with nitrogen and mixed with the tail gas,which will enter the incinerator after being absorbed. The noncondensable combustible gas released by the modified pitch reactor shall be first merged into the gas pipeline and then sent to the incinerator as fuel,which can reduce a large amount of gas consumption.
