This paper gives a general description of the technology development of annular shaft lime kiln in the year of 2015,and introduces the characteristics,advantages,problems and development direction of the kiln in the present situation,finally predicates the development in the year of 2016.

Optimized design for the frame of vertical pre-heater for 800t·d-1 active lime
The frame of vertical pre-heater is a key component carrying the entire weight of the pre-heater and guarantees its safe operation.But due to insufficient checking in the process of original design,it caused a large waste of material to ensure safety.By means of finite element analysis,this paper optimized the original frame structure and reduced the total weight without reducing the bearing capacity of the structure.
The low-creep,high anti-abrasion magnesium composite is mainly made of fused magnesia,high purity magnesia and zircon,which is applied at glassmaking furnace regenerator and turns out to be well performed.By adding with zirconium material,the composite is of higher sintering property,lower porosity and higher creep and abrasion resistance.And the formation of inner anti-abrasion phase contributes to high bonding strength under high temperature and better abrasion resistance.
There are so many beam type shaft kilns in China, and most of them are cooled by heat transfer oil.This cooling method is of high consumption and high cost,but the important thing is that too much heat is discharged directly into air by radiators.Based on beam type shaft kiln production process and its operating requirements,the paper proposes a new direct steam cooling process and introduces boiler heat transfer principle into the production process of combustion beam,which realizes beam evaporative cooled and produces saturated or superheated steam output at the same time.This process has practical application value because of energy conservation and emission reduction and heat utilization.

Due to the pollution problem of Cr6+ in magnesia chrome bricks, magnesia chrome bricks are replaced by magnesia spinel bricks in cement kiln and lime kiln. Magnesia spinel refractories are prepared with different additions and types of magnesia spinel, by rational introducing α-Al2O3 and utilizing the combination of magnesia aggregates and magnesia spinel aggregates with magnesia matrix, which have good thermal shock resistance and can buffer thermal stress and improve slag penetration resistance.

Development of lime kiln co-combusted with semi-coke powder and exhaust of calcium carbide furnace
Based on the basis of double beam lime kiln which was burned with double fuels of coal powder for lime calcined and exhaust of calcium carbide furnace,semi-coke powder was recycled in drying process of carbon material.Replacing coal powder with semi-coke powder in lime calcination not only can fully recycle the exhaust of calcium carbide and semi-coke powder,but also can reduce the production cost and make a great deal of economic benefit and social benefit.
In view of the actual operation of the Maerz gas-fired kiln in production,this paper analyzes the causes of high unit energy consumption of the Maerz kiln,such as channel blockage,uneven distribution of particle size,improper heat radiation of kiln shell,improper heating system and material segregation etc..The paper also describes the measures which should be taken to effectively reduce the unit energy consumption.
X-ray fluorescence spectrum analysis was used to determine the refractories with high CaO content such as limestone and blue stone etc..Samples were made into molten glass sheets by automatic molten prototype with anhydrous Li2B4O7 as solvent, platinum crucible as mold, ammonium bromide as release agent. Standard measurement procedures were set up by using standard samples and the measurement results could be obtained quickly, which were more quickly and accurately than traditional measuring method.
An optimum addition amount of the burning agent for welding repair material is obtained by heat balance calculation during the welding repair process for mullite-based ceramicwelding repair material.The scientific calculation provides an important theoretical basis for formulation development of welding repair material.
Beam kiln stove was operated manually for drying pulverized coal and burned lump coal as fuel which increased labor costs and stove temperature fluctuations,thus seriously affected the quality of pulverized coal. Automation reconstruction on the stove not only reduced production costs but also improved the quality of pulverized coal drying.
Dispersive purging plugs without purging by oxygen were prepared with corundum and spinel as the main raw materials, alumina and silica fume as additives, adopting a certain particle size distribution and moulding by casting. Physical properties such as bulk density and compressive strength were determined, and the using effects were tested on a ladle of 180 tons. The results show that the bulk density is greater than or equal to 2.8g·cm-3, the compressive strength is greater than or equal to 65MPa and the apparent porosity is less than or equal to 26%; the blowing-though rate is higher than slit purging plugs, and the service life increases by 30% or higher; the consumptions of oxygen blowpipe and oxygen as well as nitrogen are reduced by 90%; the residual plugs are longer; the operation is safe and the economic benefit is remarkable.
In order to understand the operational performances of bauxite based β-SiAlON new type raw material for practical application in the future,this paper studies the effects of bauxite based β-SiAlON on conventional physical properties,hot modulus of rupture,thermal shock resistance and slag corrosion resistance of MgO-SiO2-H2O combined Al2O3-MgO castables.The results showed that bauxite based β-SiAlON fines have minor negative effect on physical properties of the samples which were sintered at 1 550℃ for 3 hours and have little effect on hot modulus of rupture of the samples which were embedded carbon at 1 400℃,and improve the thermal shock resistance.Residual strength retention rate increased from 16.27% to 30.82% and slag corrosion resistance decreased obviously with the increase of β-SiAlON addition.
This paper introduced the sleeve lime kiln calcination process,the refractory structure and condition of the damage arch brick.Cause of the damaged arch brick refractory was analyzed through a combination of sleeve lime kiln production process control,limestone raw materials and the refractory characteristics.According to the arch brick damage reasons,the corresponding solutions were proposed.
Impact of spinel additives amount on properties of corundum spinel brick
In this article,the impact of spinel additives amount on properties of corundum spinel brick is studied based on raw materials of white corundum, tabular corundum,spinel and alumina powder.By comparing the properties of the test samples, such as apparent porosity, bulk density,cold crushing strength,modulus of rapture under high temperature,thermal shock resistance and LF slag corrosion resistance,the result shows that all the properties of corundum spinel brick are excellent when the spinel additives remain between 10% to 20%.
Based on actual situation,this paper analyzes some reasons that cause Maerz kiln gas unit consumption higher.Under the precondition of ensuring stable quality of final product,a good result can be achieved such as gas input is cut and gas unit consumption is reduced by decreasing the channel temperature,strengthening the quality control of raw material,optimizing relevant process operation and other measures.
