Abstract:

This paper introduces the effects of physical and chemical properties, fuel components and control of kiln processing parameters of the lime stone on production of high quality metallurgical lime with Mazer kiln. Then it proposes the control requirements of lime stone, fuel, kind of process parameters such as calcination temperature, air distribution coefficient and heat, as well as storage and transportation of metallurgical lime.
