The MnOx/AC catalyst was prepared by the equal volume impregnation method.The effects of manganese precursor,catalyst calcination temperature and loading on denitrification activity were investigated.The catalyst was characterized by H2-TPR.The results show that the catalyst with KMnO4 as the precursor of manganese,with the loading Mn by 20%(wt.%) and calcination at 400  ℃ has the best adsorption and denitrification performance.At 180  ℃,the maximum denitrification rate is above 99%,and still above 80% after 120 minutes of reaction.

The convective heat transfer and radiation heat transfer of coke oven riser heat exchanger are calculated in one coking cycle.The averagecomprehensive heat transfer coefficient of heat exchanger is 52.8 W/(m2·K).In the whole coking process, the gas flow is fully developed, andthe radiation heat transfer has nothing to do with the flow state of the gas.In the later period of coking, the decrease of gas flow rate andthe decrease of heat transfer will result in the change of the wall temperature of the ascension pipe.In the late coking period, the sudden change of temperature in the inner wall can be reduced by strengthening the radiation heat transfer between the crude gas and the inner wallof the riser and increasingthe flow rate of the crude gas properly.

We have several methods in coal blending test for stamp charge battery and have found different correlations from pilot oven test,iron boxtest and commercial stamp-charge oven test by using individual kind of coal with different coal ranks.By testing coke quality,we are able tofind the laws in pilot oven test,iron box test and commercial stamp-charge oven test with individual kind of coal and blend coal.

This paper introduced the control process and features of 7.63 m battery pusher machine and analyzed the defects in individual control and integrated system control,in particular too much operating time on one-step logic control.Through the optimization,its operating time can be cut from 681 seconds to 627 seconds and its automation level can be upgraded.

In View of the characteristics of high ash content and low caking index of raw coal,an optimum coal blends was selected by optimizing the raw material composition and through 200 kg pilot oven test,and the production was put into practice.The results showed that under the condition of reducing the premium coal by 5%~15%,the strength index of FC80 coke and FC83 coke are equal,which can meet the requirements of coke quality for blast furnace smaller than 1,000 m3.

Major problems during modification from top-charge battery to stamp-charge are introduced in this paper.One battery with dual functions,i.e.top-charge and stamp-charge change over,can be realized by keeping the top-charge oven proper unchanged and modifying relevant equipment.Integrated dedusting technology is also adopted so that charging emission of stamp-charge battery can be solved.

In crude benzol recovery unit,there existed such problems as high consumption in steam,cooling water and gas,as well as low yield of crude benzol.Through technical upgrading,the steam consumption decreased from 5.5 t/h to 4.35 t/h,with daily reduction of 27.6 t in total.The cooling water consumption fell from 1 250 m3/h to 620 m3/h,and gas consumption from 1 120 m3/h to 820 m3/h.The yield of crude benzol increased from 0.828% to 0.847%.As a result,the technical upgrading helped to lower energy consumption and increase crude benzol yield.

This paper introduces the HPF ammonia desulfurization unit for COG.The reasons which caused the excess of the H2S in the HPF ammonia desulfurization unit are the high sulfur content of the mixed coal and the high temperature of the desulfurization unit.The H2S content in the COG after the HPF ammonia desulfurization unit can be decreased to about 100 mg/Nm3 by adding a cooler for the desulfurization liquid without changing the coal blending ratio, which obtains good results.

An example is shown for treatment of high sulfur circulating gas from a CDQ system,in which two methods of high sulfur circulating gas dedusting and ultra-low discharge of the emission after DeSOx are introduced,i.e.one is to build a new emission control system for the CDQ,another is to use the existing DeSOx and DeNOx system for the high sulfur circulating gas treatment.Technical and economical analysis is also made for the two methods.
