This paper introduces ACRE’s solution to the covering-uncovering device for coke bucket,which could realize covering the coke bucket lid during the bucket car traveling along the rails.This solution stops the red coke in bucket from burning in air during traveling,prevents from generating large amount of CO2 into the atmosphere,minimizes coke burning loss and avoids additional cost for CDQ maintenance due to damaged liner plate at bucket mouth caused by coke burning.
