Abstract:

Coal tar hydrogenation is a process to remove impurities such as metals，sulfur，nitrogen，oxygen，etc.by hydrofining and to produce fuel oils by aromatic and olefin saturating.The coal tar as feedstock must be pretreated to meet the requirement of hydrogenation.To this end，three options for distillation as pretreatment are introduced；comparison is also made among the options in terms of investment，process flow and energy consumption,etc.
