Abstract: This paper elaborates on gunning refractories and gunning equipment, introduces the
construction methods for building new linings for thermal equipment and repairing its damaged
parts，especially for wet-type gunning method and flame gunning method，which feature better
performance，operational control and the actual service effect of used refractories compared with
other methods，as well as environment-friendly due to no dust emission.
