Abstract: A foreign steel company（hereinafter referred to as Company A）has been equipped with two 120 t converters and one LF，two 7-strand billet CCM of 165 mm × 165 mm，and one 4-strand rectangular billet CCM. Company A has a LF refining ratio of about 10% and mainly produces B500B series，HRB400 series，Q195L and SS400 products. This paper introduces the influencing factors and improvement measures of improving the automatic casting rate of the 120 t ladle in the Company A based on hands-on experience.
