Abstract: U n d e r t h e b a c k g r o u n d o f p r i o r i t i z i n g e c o l o g i c a l p r o t e c t i o n ， c o n s e r v a t i o n a n d
intensive，green and low-carbon development nationwide，Liaoning magnesite industry faces
the challenge of self-revolution，and the opportunity presented by the strategy of green and lowcarbon
transformation and upgrading. In the paper, by figuring out the current situation of carbon
emissions at home and abroad，the advantages and disadvantages of Liaoning magnesite industry
are analyzed, the time limit，path and countermeasures of peak carbon emissions and carbon
neutrality in the industry are put forward，and the high-quality development path of Liaoning
magnesite industry towards green and low-carbon is explored.
