Abstract: The working conditions of corundum castable for ladle were briefly described. In order to reduce the material cost，a new type of corundum self-flow castable was developed by using calcium aluminate titanate aggregate and adjusting the addition of aluminum powder on the basis of conventional corundum self-flow castable，the industrial test and economic benefit analysis were carried out on 150 t ladle. The results show that the physical properties of the new corundum selfflow castable material can meet the requirements of physical and chemical indexes，and can meet the practical application requirements in the industrial test
