According to the actual operation of Maerz kiln,this paper analyses the factors, such as channel blockage,uneven material particle size,heat dissipation from kiln shell,thermal regulation,material segregation and so on,which lead to high unit consumption in production process.The paper expounds the measures that should be taken to effectively reduce the unit consumption.
