This paper mainly introduces the general situation and damage causes of diluted oxygen burner block in copper smelting furnace，and analyzes the refractory materials used for copper smelting.The new type of chrome corundum burner blocks are applied in copper smelting furnace，the temperature distribution at each point of the furnace is uniform，and the effect is obviously improved.
