高合金钢冶炼用锆质引流砂的研制与应用

摘要: 以锆英砂、铬铁矿和石英砂为主要原料,制备了满足电炉钢包高合金钢冶炼需求的锆质引流砂,研究了石英
砂含量对其组成、结构和性能的影响。结果表明:经高温热处理后,随着石英砂含量增加,试样的线变化率逐渐增大,
显气孔率明显减小,体积密度先减小后增大,各试样内各颗粒均为点接触为主,形成了以K2O-Al2O3-SiO2-FeO 为主
的低熔相,高温耐压强度略有增大,烧结层厚度增加,促进了引流砂烧结。针对宝钢电炉钢包高合金钢种冶炼( 合金
量Cr+Ni+Mo ≥ 8%),采用锆质引流砂替代铬质引流砂进行应用,目前已稳定使用9 个月( 合计210 炉次),钢包自动
自开率明显改善,由85.0% 提高至97.2%。

Abstract: Zirconia ladle filter sand was prepared using zircon sand,chromite,and quartz sand as
the main raw materials. The sand meets the requirements for high alloy steel smelting in EAF ladle.
The influence of quartz sand content on its composition,structure,and properties has been studied.
The research results indicate that after high-temperature heat treatment,the linear change rate of
the sample gradually increases with the increase of the content of quartz sand,the apparent porosity
significantly decreases,and the bulk density first decreases and then increases. The particles in
each sample are mainly in point contact,forming generating a low melting phase dominated by
K2O-Al2O3-SiO2-FeO. Meanwhile,the high-temperature compressive strength slightly increases,
and the thickness of the sintered layer increases,promoting the sintering of the ladle filter sand.
For ladles for the smelting of high alloy steel grades in Baosteel's EAF(with an alloy content
of Cr + Ni + Mo ≥ 8%),the zirconia ladle filter sand has been applied to replace the chrome
ladle filter sand. Currently,it has been stably used for 9 months(a total of 210 heats),and the
automatic opening rate of the ladle has significantly improved,increasing from 85.0% to 97.2%.
