Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the vacuum potassium carbonate desulfurization process,including the characteristics and hazards associated with desulfurization waste liquid. It also analyzescurrent treatment methods for desulfurization waste liquid,such as chemical precipitation,IPEDCN,catalytic oxidation,ion exchange adsorption,salt extraction,membrane separation, andhydrolysis. The research progress of each method is discussed,along with their respective advantagesand disadvantages.Finally,recommendations are provided for the treatment of waste liquid resultingfrom vacuum potassium carbonate desulfurization.
