Abstract: Introduction is made to the classification of the tail gas and its recovery process in the coking plant. The tail gas of products Class C，first being treated by absorption method，shall be added into the combustion air to reduce the emission. The tail gas of products Class B and A shall be sealed with nitrogen and mixed with the tail gas，which will enter the incinerator after being absorbed. The noncondensable combustible gas released by the modified pitch reactor shall be first merged into the gas pipeline and then sent to the incinerator as fuel，which can reduce a large amount of gas consumption.
