Abstract: This paper introduces the actual application of air cooler in primary cooler of a coking plant. Compared with cooling circulating water system of open-circuit cooling tower，the closed-circuit circulating system has the advantages，such as reducing fresh water consumption per ton of coke and saving energy，which will have a great potential for wide application in coking industry.
