Abstract: The development status of modern coal chemical industry is introduced, including its high carbon characteristics. In our modern context of carbon neutrality policy, this paper puts forward solutions on reducing carbon emissions in aspects of “carbon source”，“carbon application”， “carbon emission”and“carbon recovery”in the hope of realizing green development of coal chemical industry at the earliest.
