Abstract:

The autotrophic nitrobacteria Z2 is isolated from the activated sludge in the coking waste water treatment system. The strain Z2 nitrification effect can reach up to 100% after four days in culture medium. The optimized nitration conditions of this strain are tested pH 8.0 with shaking speed of 250rpm at 30℃ under different circumstances of temperature, initial pH and shaking speed. The research on different inoculation amount shows that increase of inoculation would benefit nitrification because the nitrification of the tested strain can not be inhibited when the concentration of nitrite nitrogen is increased from 101.51mg/L to 507.55mg/L.Furthermore,the increasing culture medium pH during the nitrification could be beneficial to the nitrification in theory.
