Abstract:

In this paper，analysis is made for the causes to the damage at outer shell of the inlet duct of WHB (waste heat boiler).Improvements are also given for a better inlet duct lining structure，i.e.the original monolith concreted arch is changed to wedge type brick-laid arch structure，which runs very well without any problem and with extended service life of the WHB inlet duct，stabilized CDQ production and less operating cost.
