Abstract:

Sulfide is one of the common pollutants produced in coal chemical plants. There are several treatment methods,in which catalytic oxidation method is more often adopted for its low cost and good efficiency. However, this method has the disadvantages of slow reaction and escaping of hydrogen sulfide.First, select PT-OC01 catalyst as the best catalyst from three kinds of heterogeneous catalysts. Then conduct orthogonal experiment by taking the removing rate of sulfide and escaping rate of hydrogen sulfide as indexes to find out the best process conditions. The experiment shows that sulfur removing rate can reach 87.3%,and hydrogen sulfide escaping rate is 0.25% only.
