Abstract:

The inner wall of the ring duct broke and collapsed in the CDQ of Xuan steel coking plant.Analysis shows that the main reasons for the collapsing of inner wall are that the brick itself has defect，strength of fire resistant mortar decreases，and temperature and pressure in the duct are not stable for a long term.To prevent overall collapsing of the inner wall，the broken places have been repaired in time.At serious crowning places concrete supports were cast.On the whole，the CDQ is in good running state after repairing.
