Adopting A85 homogenized bauxite,96 sintered magnesia,corundum powder, alumina magnesium spinel powder,silicon powder,alumina powder,carbon and silicon-based additives as raw materials,the effects of carbon materials and silicon-based additives on the properties of castables were studied through experiments. The silicon-based additives can enhance and inhibit the oxidation of carbon materials,with the introduction amounts of 0,0.5%,1%,1.5% and 2% respectively. The results show that with the introduction of silicon-based additives,the porosity first decreases and then increases,the bulk density first increases and then decreases, the black core area gradually increases,and the high temperature performance first improves and then decreases. Comprehensive analysis shows that when the amount of silicon-based additives is 1%,the performance of castable is the best

In order to study the effects of sliding plate grinding powder on the properties of magnesia-alumina castable,95% magnesia,88% alumina and silica fume were used as main raw materials to prepare magnesia-alumina castable. The effects of 2%,4% and 6% of sliding plate grinding powder on bulk density,apparent porosity,modulus of rupture at room temperature, slag penetration resistance and slag erosion resistance of magnesia-alumina castable were studied. According to the comprehensive analysis,when the addition amount of sliding plate grinding powder is 2%,the application effect is the best.

Combined with the burning down of supporting arch of double-bore kiln, the steel frame supporting mould was used for repairing. Compared with the removal and relaying of double-bore kiln, the repair time is greatly shortened and the repair cost is saved about 5.6 million yuan. The supporting arch has been put into operation for more than one year after restoration, but it has not been found that the refractory in the kiln has fallen off, the pressure in the kiln and the energy consumption of the product have been reduced obviously.

Under the condition of low calorific value converter gas as fuel, the limestone suitable for low calorific value calcination process is selected after high coke mixed gas replaced by converter gas in the double D lime kiln of Nangang. In view of the adverse effects of low calorific value gas, a series of equipment and process improvements are carried out, which effectively overcome the disadvantages of low calorific value gas, stabilize kiln production and increase the production capacity of double D lime kiln.

During the production of magnesium calcium bricks,due to lax quality control of raw materials,there may be defects such as air voids left on the surfaces of calcined bricks, causing great products losses and resource waste. In this paper, by means of conducting microscopic detections such as component analysis, XRD phase analysis,and SEM scanning electron microscopy to the air voids in the magnesium calcium bricks,it is found that the excessive content of SiO2 and Al2O3 impurities in the magnesium calcium sand causes the conversion of C2S(dicalcium silicate)and C3S (tricalcium silicate)and the formation of manganolite with low melting point and low melting mineral phase with high aluminum at the enrichment of silicon and aluminum.

Active lime is one of the important solvents and slag-forming materials in iron and steel production. Basically,all major and medium-sized iron and steel enterprises in our country have production facilities for metallurgical lime. In the production process of active lime, the transportation of materials is often accompanied by dust. If the dust is not treated, it will cause dust overflow,which will not only pollute the surrounding environment,but also endanger the health of workers and surrounding residents. In addition,the national requirements for environmental protection are getting higher and higher,the environmental dust removal is particularly important. This paper analyzes the causes and locations of fugitive dust,and introduces the dust treatment methods and the calculation of dust collection air volume under different dust source environments.
