Abstract: In order to reduce the cost while enhance the quality of zircon ramming material,and improve the construction efficiency on site,experiments on the dosage of fused zirconia-corundum powder under the action of two different binding agents,industrial phosphoric acid(85%)and silica sol(40%),are conducted using zircon bricks and zircon sands as aggregates,and zircon powder, zircon micro powder,and recycled electrofused zirconia-corundum powder as fine powders. The results show that zircon ramming material with 5% recycled fused zirconia-corundum powder dosed and silica sol(40% concentration)as binding agent has short curing time,low apparent porosity, high strength and good construction performance. In the industrial experiments conducted,a glass kiln used for more than 4 years but still in good conditions is used,with its bath bottom meeting the service life and construction requirements,to present a good effect.
