Abstract: The main raw materials for preparing anhydrous gun mud for blast furnaces are fused
corundum，97 silicon carbide，coke powder，active aluminum oxide powder，and Guangxi clay，
with phenolic resin as the binder，and the addition ratio of anticorrosive agent ACAO is 0 ～ 3%.
This article analyzes the effect of changes in ACAO dosage on the performances of gun mud under
ambient temperature and high temperature. The results show that with the increased addition of
ACAO，the plasticity of the gun mud deteriorates. After being processed at 300 ℃，the apparent
porosity of the sample gradually decreases，the bulk density gradually increases，and the strength
continuously improves；while after being processed at 1 400 ℃，the porosity of the sample
gradually decreases，the bulk density gradually increases，the strength continuously improves，
and the high-temperature bending strength gets better.
