Abstract: In order to improve the social and economic benefits, higher requirements are put forward for blast furnace ironmaking burdens. Therefore, the application of high magnesium alkalinity pellet and high alkali sintering ore in blast furnace has become a revolutionary progress in blast furnace burden structure. Alkalinity pellets need high quality lime and light-burned dolomite in the production process, which provides a new application market for lime industry. Based on the practice of producing alkalinity pellet solvent in TGS680 lime kiln with blast furnace gas, the quality standard of alkalinity pellet solvent and its usage are discussed.
