Abstract: This paper introduces the refractory lining of opposed multi-burner gasifier. In order to improve the production capacity, the lining refractory of the gasifier was optimized, the effective volume of the gasifier was expanded, and the heat transfer analysis of the gasifier lining structure before and after the capacity expansion was carried out. The results show that by optimizing and adjusting the thickness of different linings, the outer wall temperature of the steel shell is basically kept unchanged, and the production expansion effect has been achieved field application step by step. However, the service life of refractories decreased significantly in the early stage after transformation. By improving the refractory performance，the improved high chrome brick has basically met the service requirements of gasifier.
