Abstract: Gas pressure sintering technology can be used for the preparation of highly densified ceramic materials with complex shapes，which is an economical，practical and important sintering technology. In this paper，the gas pressure sintering technology and related equipment are introduced，and the related research progress on the preparation of ceramic materials by gas pressure sintering technology are summarized. Meanwhile，the development direction for preparing ceramic materials by gas pressure sintering technology is prospected
