At present,magnesia chrome bricks are the main refractories for RH furnace.Based on the field operation experience of 100 t RH furnace in a steel plant,this paper introduces the effective methods to reduce the consumption of magnesia chrome bricks in the lower slot of RH furnace,which contributes to the energy saving and consumption reduction of the enterprise.
