镁碳砖MT-14A在GOR转炉炉底的应用研究

摘要:

对镁碳砖MT-14A在65t GOR转炉炉底的使用情况进行了论述,并对寿命较低的炉底砖进行取样分析。研究表明,1 000mm长镁碳砖最高使用炉龄为62次,平均炉龄50次左右;800mm长镁碳砖最高使用炉龄为41次,平均炉龄不足30次。镁碳砖MT-14A在使用过程中出现了断砖现象,不是最理想的GOR炉底材料。其损毁机理是热冲击损伤及工作面电熔镁熔损和脱碳反应。

Abstract:

This paper described the application of magnesia-carbon brick MT-14A in 65T GOR converter bottom and analyzed the sample bricks at the bottom of shorter service life.The results showed that the longest furnace life using 1 000mm-long magnesia-carbon brick MT-14A is 62 times and the average life is 50 times, and that using 800mm-long magnesia-carbon brick MT-14A is 41 times and the average life is less than 30 times.It’s also found that the magnesia-carbon brick MT-14A got fractured in service and proved not a suitable material to be employed in GOR converter bottom since the damage mechanism of MT-14A is melting loss of fused-magnesite and decar-bonization in working surface.
