In this paper,sulfur recovery technology by Claus process is introduced in aspects of development orientation,the chemical reaction mechanism in the furnace,the common process,liquid sulfur molding and Claus reaction catalysis,etc..Two cases in Handan Plant and Formosa Plant are compared with the application of the Claus system in two coking plants.
