Abstract: The collapse of coal cake into stamp-charge coke oven is a major factor hindering coke plant production，which would cause abnormal coke oven heating，higher viscosity of coal tar，faster growing graphite，and reduction of refractory tightness and even shorter service life of the coke oven battery.Through analysis and practice，preventive measures were found to minimize the collapse possibility of coal cake into the stamp-charge coke oven in terms of coal blend moisture，grain size and optimized coal blend composition，etc..
