Abstract:

The formation mechanism and influence factors of thermal NOx during coke oven heating are investigated by using CFD numerical simulation method，which chooses one couple of heating flues of a 6m BFG-firing coke oven battery.The results show that the excessive air ratio has a great influence on the formation of NOx，i.e.with the increase of the excessive air ratio，the NOx concentration first increases and then decreases.The heat flux also has a significant impact on NOx formation.With the decrease of the heat flux，the maximum temperature of combustion increases and the amount of NOx formation increases.For different heat flux value，the excessive air coefficient on the temperature distribution and concentration distribution of NOx in heating flue are different.
