Abstract:

Pitch samples are molded by cold inlaid resin，and then grinded and polished by automatic grinding and polishing machine with different size grade waterproof sandpaper.The samples are observed and measured by reflection type polarizing microscope.Mesophase content is obtained through area percentage method.This method can not only avoid the influence of mesophase size，but also measure the proportion of different sizes of mesophase.
