Abstract: CSR index of coal is the most effective index to evaluate the metallurgical properties of
coal. It is proved through the small coke oven test that the CRI and CSR of a single coal have a good
correlation with the CRI and CSR of coke，the differences between test value of CRI and CSR of coal
and industrial production is 13 and 21 percentage points respective. The optimization of coal type has
been realized.
