Abstract: Abstract：Baosteel Zhanjiang iron and steel plant phase 3 newly built 2×65 top charging
compound coke oven battery with oven chamber height and width of 7 m and 530 mm respectively，
the oven machine automation is realized through application of the technologies such as manless
operation，intelligent anti-collision，area prevention and control，safety interlock，wireless
technology，cluster operation mode，bridged coke inspection. Combined with the explosion-proof
reversing machine，basement inspection robot，heat recovery of standpipe，the automatic opening
and closing of the standpipe and the net coking detection technology. As as result，the manless
operation of the coke oven is realized，and the feasibility of manless operation on the oven machine
is analyzed.
