Abstract: This paper summarizes physical and chemical properties of semi-coke，discusses research
progress of semi-coke injection into blast furnace，and elaborates the trend of semi-coke application
in blast furnace injection technology. Semi coke，as a kind of secondary clean energy，can meet the
requirement of blast furnace injection，and has great potential in blast furnace production. But relevant
process and equipment need to be improved for successful blast furnace injection.
