Abstract:

This paper mainly elaborates the application of coal petrographic analysis in identification of coal types and evaluation of mixed coal，guidance of coal blending，prediction of coke quality，guidance in reasonable sub-heap of coal sent to the plant and determination of optical texture of coke.The study shows that the vitrinite reflectance distribution diagram of coal petrographic analysis has obvious effects in identification of quality of coal sent to the plant and evaluation of mixed coal，which could optimize the coal blending scheme，stabilize coke quality and guide reasonable sub-heap of coal types.
