This paper introduces the main materials of refractories used in flue of CDQ in China,analyzes the main causes of brick damages of partition wall from microscopic and macroscopic angles.From the application and test of mullite-silicon carbide brick,mullite-andalusite brick,silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide brick and newly developed low internal stress mullite-andalusite brick are compared and analyzed.It is pointed out that improving the thermal shock stability and good abrasion resistance of the partition wall bricks can satisfy longevity,and a new type of high temperature and low internal stress mullite-andalusite brick has the advantages of very low internal stress,excellent thermal shock stability,good abrasion resistance and low bulk density and so on,which can meet the longevity requirement of partition wall refractories in CDQ.

Unburnt magnesia-calcium refractories were prepared by using synthetic magnesia-calcium sand and fused magnesia sand as main raw materials, anhydrous phenolic resin as binder and ferrocene as catalyst.The effect of ferrocene on the properties of unburnt magnesia\|calcium refractories in reducing atmosphere was investigated,and the microstructure of the samples were observed and analyzed by SEM and XRD.The results show that: (1) The addition of ferrocene improves the cold crushing strength,hydration resistance and high temperature performance of the unburnt magnesia-calcium refractories,and their hydration resistance and slag resistance are significantly improved.The increase of refractoriness under load and the improvement of compressive creep performance enhance the practical application ability; (2) Observing the microstructure of the unburnt magnesia-calcium refractories with 1% ferrocene content,it is found that the anhydrous phenolic resin is catalyzed to form an in-situ synthetic grid structure,and iron and carbon elements are mainly distributed in the organic grid structure,performances can be improved; (3) After heat treatment at 1 200 ℃ in a reducing atmosphere,the introduction of ferrocene will still improve the bulk density,apparent porosity and cold crushing strength of the sample.The in-situ synthesis of the organic grid structure and the particle distribution of iron and carbon are still retained even at high temperatures,and are not completely destroyed.

By using “rod mill+V-model  static separator+dynamic separator”,the final grinding process can simultaneously produce limestone powder for boiler desulphurization and fine sand aggregate for construction.It is found that the particle size distribution of the main product limestone coarse powder is good, which meets the requirements of the particle size distribution of the desulfurizer.It is proved that the final grinding process is feasible to produce the desulfurization limestone powder.

Through process simulation with thermodynamic soft ware and static slag corrosion resistance experiment,the corrosion resistance behavior of RH inserted tube magnesia-chrome brick against common steel slag and silicon steel slag in a steel plant were studied.The results show that the corrosion of common steel slag on magnesia-chrome brick is small,but the penetration is serious,and the silicon steel slag has serious corrosion on magnesia-chrome brick.Therefore,it is suggested that steel plants can refine ordinary steel first and then silicon steel when refining with the same RH inserted tube,which is beneficial to prolong the service life of RH inserted tube.

In order to improve the quality of molten steel,reduce the cost of per ton steel and reduce the influence of converter slag,many steel plants have adopted the slag stopping system of converter slide plate.In this system,converter slag stopping slide plate is the refractory core,slide plate life affects the system replacement frequency and production rhythm and so on.Through studying the problems of slag sticking and steel clamping on the spot,it is found that the damages of inner and outer slide plates are in different positions and different states.Based on the existing technology of converter slag stopping slide plate,the processes of inner and outer slide plates are both improved,and the material of outer slide plate is developed.The results show that with other conditions remains,the frequency of the new scheme is much higher than that of the original scheme.

In hot repair process of the ladle,the upper nozzle is manual dismantled with pneumatic pick in the traditional demolition method,which is high labor intensity and unsafe.In view of this situation,we developed a demolition method with drawing mechanism instead of the traditional demolition method.After the drawing mechanism is put into use,the work intensity is reduced,the work efficiency is improved and the personnel safety is guaranteed.

According to the investigation,the dispersed (porous) type plug has been widely used as a argon blowing plug for secondary refining of ladle.In recent years, compared with the dispersion plug,the slit type plug is more and more widely used because of its advantages of larger gas flow rate and excellent corrosion resistance.The slit type plug for ladle has good gas fluidity,because the plug can be cleaned by oxygen gas blowing in hot repair process to recover gas flowability and can be recycled many times.The traditional slit type plug contains chromium oxide,which increases the corrosion resistance,but due to the adverse effects of hexavalent chromium on human body and environment,from the point of view of health and environmental protection,the customers require the products to be chromium-free.On the basis of ensuring good air permeability,it has the same corrosion resistance as traditional chromium-containing oxide products.
