Abstract:

In metallurgical industry，sliding nozzle becomes more and more important as a critical equipment in continuous casting process.However，the cracks interrupts continuous use of the sliding plate.This paper analyzed the formation and harmful aspects of the cracks and proposed a solution to minimize the cracks.These improvements raise the service life of the sliding plate.
