A large amount of smoke and dust is produced during LF refining process,which can gush from the gap between electrode and furnace cover and cause serious pollution to the working environment in front of the furnace.In this paper,by optimizing the refractory structure of LF cover,an environment-friendly and gas-sealed LF cover is designed,which can effectively reduce the emission of smoke and dust and improve the working environment.
